Our mission - provide a vehicle for Mosaix predictive dialer users to
increase their knowledge on proper operation, utilization, and maintenance of
their dialing systems and other call center solutions.
Formally
the NE Users Group, we changed our name to reflect our growing
US and international membership. The Mosaix User Group exists
to help organizations and individuals who are interested in the
Mosaix dialer and its use.
Like MUG, the Mosaix dialer has a long history. Originally
conceived in the 1980s, the dialer has grown to be one of the most
sophisticated available in the marketplace. Bit by bit improvements
have been made, many at the request of MUG, so that you see the
machine available today. But we don't just stop at the dialer and its
supplier, we look at training, operations and ancillary products that
make the day to day work of the Users - us - more successful.
Of course not only has the dialer had a colorful history, so
has the company that created it. Redmond based Digital Systems
International created the dialer, merging with the Alameda based
ViewStar to create Mosaix. In July of 1999, Lucent Technologies
purchased Mosaix, bringing the huge R&D capability of Bell Labs to bear,
then just 1 year later, Lucent spun off Avaya and with it the Mosaix
predictive dialing system. Throughout this time the Mosaix User Group
has existed to help.
MUG meets at least once a year at venues around the country to exchange
ideas, to hear about plans for the dialer's improvement and about Users
experiences. Why not join us?
