Primary & secondary charge offs
We are pleased to be able to offer both primary and secondary charge-off programs. Charge off programs are typically engaged in by a credit grantor when a debt reaches 4 to 6 months past due. Within the industry, a primary placement would be the first time the debt was passed to an agency, secondary the second, tertiary the third and quad the fourth time. As the age of the debt increases, so it moves through primary to secondary and so on, where the likelihood of contacting the debtor and collecting on the debt decreases. Fortunately, the use of the UniversalSystems™ Accelerator makes a difference by increasing the productivity of the dialer and at the same time ensuring that the best collectors are available to talk to the called party, dramatically increasing the likelihood of a successful outcome.

Early Out programs
A credit grantor may choose an agency to work on accounts that are in the early stage of debt, perhaps 30-60 days old. There are two usual approaches, the first, where an agency represents themselves as being the credit grantor are known as first party programs, the second, where the agency represents themselves as being an agency authorized to collect on a debt, are known as third party programs. The Bureau of Collection Recovery is well versed in providing first and third party Early Out programs. In these programs, connect and right party rates tend to be high, and while it is always important to set and provide high customer standards whatever the situation, service-to-value analysis tells us that the majority of customers contacted within a Early Out program will become paying customers again. By utilizing superior dialing technology, the productivity goals of high penetration and low nuisance calls can be met together with the highly desirable effectiveness goal of increased favorable outcomes.
